The world is in a bad place in the first half of 2021. This is sadly not unique to the year 2021 itself. The past 20 years have seen heartache, wars, hate, and just about everything else you can think of that may have you questioning, is the end near? Whether you believe in the bible or not, you have to admit how accurate this ancient book is. There has never in my lifetime been a time scarier where I fear for not only my country but for this world. People around the world are being persecuted and killed. Governments are turning on their own people, millions are dying from a deadly virus, and governments around the world are finding better ways to control the people.
Here in the United States, for example, the government is using police shootings, many justified, to drum up hate and division. They want all people of color to believe they are hated and their country is racist, in turn causing them to also be racist. This is a tactic that is often talked about in the end times. In this The End Times Podcast, we talk about many bible verses that reference what is actually happening today. Below are a few of the best verses that relate to The End Times Podcast.
2 Timothy 3:1-5 NIV
1 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God- 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.
Matthew 24:36-44 NIV
36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,but only the Father. 37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. 42 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. 43 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. 44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.
2 Peter 3:3-4 NIV
3 Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. 4 They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.”
1 Timothy 4:1 NIV
The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.
Jesus describes End Time events in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21. Here’s what Jesus said in Luke 21:
“Master!” they exclaimed. “When? And will there be any warning ahead of time?”
He (Jesus) replied, “Don’t let anyone mislead you. For many will come announcing themselves as the Messiah, and saying, ‘The time has come.’ But don’t believe them! And when you hear of wars and insurrections beginning, don’t panic. True, wars must come, but the end won’t follow immediately— for nation shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be great earthquakes, and famines in many lands, and epidemics, and terrifying things happening in the heavens.” ESV
The passage further describes the persecution of Christians (and Jews in context).
Another very interesting verse in the bible speaks about a mark that everyone that wants to buy and sell must have to live. With talk about the Pentagon recently developing some microchip for “detecting covid” and now talks of a vaccine passport, makes you wonder.
Revelation 13:16-17 ESV
Also, it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name.

There is no doubt that what we talk about on The End Times Podcast is scary. If you go through and read the prophecies that talk about the events that will happen leading up to the rapture, your mind will be blown. If you are a believer, we only know when the time is near, and I think it has to be at least near.
